상류층 룸포이네 가족은 태평양전쟁이 터지자 시골로 피한다. 둠의 아버지는 그들에게 거처를 마련해주고 도시소녀 룸포이와 시골 소년 둠은 서로에게 애틋한 감정을 느낀다. 9년 뒤 룸포이와 재회한 둠은 그녀의 명예를 지키려다 대학에서 쫓겨난다. 귀향한 둠은 아버지가 도적떼에 살해당한 사실을 알고 ‘블랙 타이거’라는 이름의 갱스터가 된다. 이 영화의 복고풍은 필름을 베타테이프로 옮긴 뒤 색을 덧칠하는 작업 등을 통해 얻어낸 결과. 감독은 여기에 60년대식 타이 영화의 전통과 연극 양식을 차용해 태국식 스파게티 웨스턴을 요리해냈다.

Rumpoey and her high class family flee to the countryside as the Pacific War breaks out. Dum's father arranges a place for them to live, and the city girl and the shy mountain boy develope a feeling for each other. 9 years later, Dum who reunites with Rumpoey, gets kicked out of university after he gets into a fight to keep her dignity, but vows to earn a lot of money and marry her someday. Dum becomes a gangster calling himself "Black Tiger" after he finds his father killed by a group of thieves. In the midst of all the fighting and commotion, Dum's destiny to protect his love falls into a tragedy of hell. Intentionally painting the set with bright colors, and transferring the film to a beta tape overlapping it with colors is what reels off ㄳ old fashion style. Wisit Sasanatieng used a 60's Thai film tradition and theater style, stirring up a kind of Thai spaghetti western.
