<아멜리에>와 함께 부천의 마지막 밤을 빛낼 폐막작 <소름> 기자회견이 18일 2시 복사골 문화센터 5층 기자회견실에서 열렸다. 윤종찬 감독과 주연을 맡은 장진영, 김명민이 참석한 이날 기자회견은 김명민의 지각으로 잠시 지연됐지만 진행을 맡은 김영덕 프로그래머는 “영화에서는 택시기사로 출연하는데 부천의 길을 못 찾다니…”라는 조크로 위기(?)를 모면했다. 재개발을 기다리는 30년된 미금아파트에 깃든 공포와 두 남녀 사이에 벌어지는 비극적인 운명을 다룬 <소름>은 종전에 보아오던 슬래셔무비와 달리 보이지 않는 공포를 다룬 수작. 윤종찬 감독은 “인간의 탐욕이나 욕심이 이런 결과를 낳는다면 이것이야 말로 소름끼치는 일”이라며 “특히 인간과 인간 사이의 공포를 다루고 싶었다”고 연출의 변을 밝혔다. 아이를 잃고 남편의 폭력에 시달리는 선영으로 출연한 장진영은 “네번째 영화지만 삶에 변화를 준 영화였다. 그러나 촬영 내내 마음이 너무 아프고 힘들었다”는 말로 인물에 대한 몰입을 가늠케 했다. 미스테리의 중심에 있는 인물 용현은 TV에서 주로 활약하던 신예 김명민. 윤 감독은 “여성화된 요즘 배우들과 달리 선이 굵고 강한 감도를 소화해낼 수 있는 얼굴”이라며 캐스팅 이유를 설명했다. 윤종찬 감독은 특히 실사 조명을 구현하는데 따른 모험과 신인감독으로서 보편적으로 격는 데뷔부담, 유학시절 찍은 중편 <메멘토>를 장편으로 한국화시키는데 따른 어려움을 토로했다.
A Heartfelt Press Conference
The press conference for , the closing film along with that will decorate the last night at Puchon, was held at Boksagol Cultural Center? press conference room . Director Yoon Jong-chan, leading actress Jang Jin-young and leading actor Kim Myung-min were at the press conference. A horror that dwells in a 30 year old Migeum apartment waiting to go through reconstruction and a tragic destiny between a man and a woman, is an outstanding film dealing with invisible horror, making it different from previous slasher films. Director Yoon Jong-chan expressed that, "If these are the results of a human? greed and selfishness, then that would be truly terrifying" and said that he especially wanted to show the horror between people. Jang Jin-young played the role of Sun-young, who lost her child and is abused by her husband. She showed how much she devoted herself to the film by saying "Even though this is my 4th film, it has done many changes to my life. My heart ached and I got very tired during the shooting." Kim Myung-min who is active in TV, plays Yong-hyun, who is in the center of this mystery. Director Yoon said that "Kim Myung-min is a character that is different from feminine male actors of today. He shows us his bold masculin-ity." Director Yoon expressed the adven-tures of embodying reality, and the burden of his debut. He also expressed his hard-ships of making the medium-length film which he made during his stay abroad as a student into a Korean feature film.
